The Macallan Single Malt Scotch Whisky

Founded in 1824, The Macallan was one of the first distilleries in Scotland to be legally licensed. Since then it has built a reputation as one of the world's leading single malt whiskies. The Macallan's distinctive character and taste lies with the 'new make' spirit; from the quality of the barley, to the soft natural spring water, to the final distillation in their small spirit stills, from which only the very best fraction is kept for maturation. Their 12 Year Old Double Cask offers notes of butterscotch, toffee apple, and vanilla custard, complemented by hints of orange and wood spice.
