Thursday December 1st:
We will be tasting Shaw Vineyards Cabernet Franc, an easygoing, balanced red with a nice plum color. It pairs well with many hors d'oeuvres and has hints of spices and blackberry. We'll also be sampling their Sauvignon Blanc, a clear and crisp white that possesses hints of green apples, pineapples, and even traces of fresh green snap peas.
In addition, we'll be tasting Mackmyra First Edition Whisky from Sweden. It's smooth, elegant flavor has a fruity yet spicy aroma with hints of citrus and caramel.
We will also have Redemption Rye, which is spicy, with crisp evergreen, warming cinnamon, clove, licorice, dark chocolate, and suggestions of gin botanicals. There will also be Redemption High-Rye, whose spicy character contrasts with its sweet corn notes. Bottled by hand in Kentucky, each bottle of Redemption Rye Bourbon has the batch and bottle number handwritten on the label. Smooth and flavorful, they both can be enjoyed on their own or in a variety of classic cocktails.
