Ode to Eau: the Fragile Balance Between Spring & Spirit

Event Date: 05/18/2013, 1:00 pm

hosted by Adrienne Stillman, Co-Founder at Dipsology; Lucinda Sterling, Principal at Middle Branch; and Andie Ferman, St George Spirits

Join Lucinda Sterling, Managing Partner at Middle Branch, and Andie Ferman of St. George Spirits for an interactive seminar where we examine the role of water in smelling, tasting and appreciating spirits & cocktails.

We'll sample a range of spirits from St. George (one of the first craft distillers in the US, founded in 1982), including two of their signature gins (Terroir and Botanivore) as well as Breaking & Entering Bourbon.

Finally, we'll taste the spirits incorporated into various cocktails created by Lucinda and her expert team, discussing her approach and the importance of water - and ice - in mixing drinks.

The event will conclude with a tasting of St. George's Absinthe Verte, after which guests will be invited to mingle and indulge in cocktails and food pairings curated by our hosts.

Ode to Eau is co-hosted by Dipsology, your guide to great cocktail drinking in NYC. Learn more at www.dipsology.com
