Duck, Duck... Bourbon, and Rye and Whiskey Too
Tasting Series at The Bar at Rotisserie Georgette

Head Bartender Jeremy Buck hosts a fun and informative series of tastings, each with a flight of fine bourbon, rye and single malt whiskey‎. Learn as much or as little as you like about what distinguishes these spirits from each other and what sets small batch, artisanal distilleries apart. Or simply find a perch at our bar and enjoy the tasting at your own pace. On three Wednesday evenings in March, Jeremy will feature either a single distillery or a pair well suited for comparison, not to mention some unannounced surprise pours. On March 4, we’ll pour a selection from Hudson Whiskey, the first bourbon distillery in New York State since Prohibition. On March 11, the spotlight is on Michter’s, America’s first whiskey company, dating back to 1753. We finish on March 18 with spirits by one Master Distiller, Dave Pickerell, and his work at two North Eastern Distilleries, Hudson Valley’s Hillrock and Vermont’s WhistlePig. So where's the "Duck, Duck" part of the deal? As all booze and nothing to bite into is no fun, the spirits will be accompanied by Chef Chad Brauze's house made charcuterie, including our graillons and rillettes de canard. The tastings take part on the first three Wednesdays in March (4th, 11th and 18th). Simply drop in any time from 5:30 to 8:30pm. The price is $50 per person. POURING: Hillrock Solera Bourbon, Hillrock Single Malt Whiskey and Whistle Pig 10 Year Old Straight Rye
