The first half of the evening will be a panel discussion featuring:

- Author Clay Risen http://www.compasstalent.com/clay-risen/ (American Whiskey, Bourbon and Rye: A Guide to the Nation’s Favorite Spirit)
- Whiskey historian Josh Feldman of The Coopered Tot (http://www.cooperedtot.com/)
- Distiller Christopher Williams of Coppersea Distilling.
They will discuss the historical production and bottling of whiskey in NY state, with a special focus on those companies headquartered here in NYC prior to Prohibition and up until WW2.
There will be historical bottles present from many of these companies for your perusal, dating back to 1902.

The second part of the evening will be a tasting event that brings us to the present and into the future of NY State whiskey production.
We will have representatives from Kings County Distillery, Coppersea Distilling, Hillrock Estate Distillery, Breuckelen Distilling, Tuthilltown Spirits, Hudson Valley Distillers, LLC, and New York Distilling Company bringing tastes of their NY state whiskies for those present.
