While there are plenty of good scotch whiskies that you can find at your local bar or liquor store, many affordable high-quality releases are not well-known here in the US. Now's your chance to explore a few of these releases and be introduced to a few of Scotland's "hidden gems."

Join New York Adventure Club (https://www.nyadventureclub.com/) as we taste and learn our way through Scotland and its lesser-known (but equally delicious) whiskies, all inside a 1921 townhouse in Midtown that is now home to the Church of Sweden.

Led by Kurt Maitland, founder of the Manhattan Whiskey Club and Deputy Editor of the Whiskey Reviewer, our unique experience at this intimate space in Manhattan will include:

• An overview of Scotch whisky – what it is, how it's made, along with some insight into what is happening in the booming industry
• The 101 on some of the different distilleries of Scotland
• A tasting of several different Scotch single malts and blends, including Glenmorangie The Quinta Ruban, Glengoyne 15, Tomatin 15, Glenfarclas 12, and Talisker Distillers Edition
• A chance to mingle with other adventurers who enjoy whiskey as much as you do

Kurt has traveled extensively to whisky distilleries throughout the world, and is ready to answer any and all questions about this storied spirit!
