When you hear Irish whiskey, what comes to mind? For many, it's a shot of Jameson and a beer back — but after tasting some of the unique styles of Irish whiskey, some of which rank amongst the world's finest, you're bound to have a newfound appreciation for the Ireland touch.
Join New York Adventure Club (https://www.nyadventureclub.com/) as we taste and learn our way through several Irish whiskeys, all inside a 1921 townhouse in Midtown that is now home to the Church of Sweden.
Led by Kurt Maitland, founder of the Manhattan Whiskey Club and Deputy Editor of the Whiskey Reviewer, our unique experience at this intimate space in Manhattan will include:
• An overview of Irish whiskey – what it is, how it's made, along with some insight into what is happening in the booming industry
• The 101 on some of the different distilleries of Ireland
• A tasting of several different Irish single malts and blends, including Teeling, Jameson, and Redbreast
• A chance to mingle with other adventurers who enjoy whiskey as much as you do
