Brady Konya and Ryan Lang founded Middle West Spirits in 2008 and opened their distillery in 2010 with the idea of celebrating the distinctive flavors of the Ohio River Valley. OYO, in fact, stands for the phonetic pronunciation of Ohio. Inspired by four generations of distilling traditions and by artisanal methods, Konya and Lang now produce some of the most unique and lauded spirits in the region.
