You can't take all your liquor straight. Join us this Thursday, August 12th, for a celebration of the spiritous alchemy that is the cocktail.

We'll be indulging in some post-prohibition gaiety, with a focus on refreshment with nuance. Eschewing the common mixed drink, we'll turn our attention to elixirs woven together with absinthe, rum, rye, genever and various liqueurs.

There is an expanse of flavor that only the cocktail can acheive - come Thursday to experience it all.

Here's what we'll be shaking, stirring and pouring...

* The Dobleon, a lighter, brighter take on the classic Dark 'n Stormy featuring Montecristo Rum and Domaine de Canton Ginger Liqueur

* A fresh Strawberry Rye Sour crafted with the straight American rye whiskey, Redemption Rye

* A Genever Collins made with fresh lemon juice and Holland's famed Bols Genever

* A refreshing absinthe Mojito with muddled cucumber, sparkling wine, and New York's own Edward III Absinthe
