The Rise of American Single Malt Whiskey

Every year around Whiskey Fest NY Astor attempts to provide more ambitious events both in-store and at Astor Center.
This year they have a great event planned with six head distillers from young American companies that are all banding together to campaign for the establishment of an American Single Malt category. They represent some of the best and biggest names in the category thus far. They are holding a special seminar at Astor Center with very limited space, and then a bigger, more general tasting in the store afterwards.
