Sweets and Spirits: A Distillery Tour & Whiskey Pairing

Head to Kings County Distillery for an extended distillery tour and whiskey pairing with Liddabit Sweets. We’ll begin with a history of American distilling as well as the story of how our company got started. Next you’ll walk the factory floor to learn the art and science of making whiskey. We’ll discuss aging upstairs in the barrel room and chat about the difference between moonshine and bourbon. At the end, we'll have a tasting and discussion about our pairings with Liddabit Sweets. You'll even get to taste an exclusive collaboration product, fresh out of the test kitchen.

About Kings County Distillery: Kings County Distillery is New York City’s oldest operating whiskey distillery, the first since prohibition. Founded in 2010, Kings County makes handmade moonshine and bourbon out of the 115-year-old Paymaster Building in the Brooklyn Navy Yard. We use New York grain and traditional distilling equipment to make distinctive whiskey. Our whiskeys have won numerous awards from the American Distilling Institute, the American Craft Spirits Association, and our bourbon was recently named #2 craft bourbon by Eric Asimov of the New York Times.

About Liddabit Sweets: At Liddabit, we are committed to using as many local and seasonal ingredients as possible to create fresh, delectable, responsibly made sweets for you to enjoy. Our products are delicious, unique, and made with pride. We love what we do, and we believe that you can taste the difference. Learn more at: www.liddabitsweets.com
