Islay is a stunning beautiful island of Scotland's west coast - a land where rolling hills meets crashing seas; where ancient Celtic lore is entwined with a culture of whisky making to weave a rich tapestry. On World Whisky Day we will bring Islay to New York

Hosted by the Isle of Skye Scottish Pub in Brooklyn, and conducted by New York's Morrison Bowmore Brand Ambassador, David McNicoll we will explore the methods, history and flavours that make the Bowmore Single Malt the most balanced of the Islay Malts; and take a look at the influence of water on the dram. Founded in 1779 Bowmore is the oldest of the Islays and a true reflection of a phenomenal place.
