If you like rye whiskey you’re going to be in hog heaven this coming Tuesday when you join us at Louis 649 for our weekly TNT. Though the whole rolling around getting dirty thing is up to you later (and something we don’t need the details/photos of), your night at L649 will definitely leave you as pleased as a pig in the mud as you sample the small production chewy, toothsome, sweetly mellow-y rye known as WhistlePig.

This is bo...th a rye lover’s rye and a great entry into the category for adventurous imbibers who are not familiar with the category. WhistlePig’s Americana factor is high with juice that’s made from 100 percent rye, and hand bottled at 100 proof at WhistlePig Farm Distillery in Shoreham, Vermont where it rested for a minimum of 10 years in charred white oak casks.

WhistlePig's proprietor, Raj Bhakta will be at the event to share his passion for rye. Come try rye whiskey, one of this country’s longest appreciated beverages, as Raj serves it up himself neat and in classic Manhattans. This is a real treat for us and for any whiskey aficionado!

Tastings begin at 7 p.m. and limited seating is on a first come, first served basis.
