This three-part series takes you on a sensory exploration of the world’s most beloved grain-based distillate. Designed to lead the whisky neophyte into a better-than-basic understanding or to fill in the gaps in experienced imbiber’s knowledge, we’ll walk you through the history, understanding, and (most importantly) enjoyment of all types of whisky. Each session may be taken individually or purchased as a complete series as part of Whisky 101 package.
The third and final session will focus on whisky tasting and nosing techniques, and developing a personal vocabulary for what you sniff and sip. We’ll also discuss what’s happening in the wider world of whisky (from Wales to Japan) and a who’s who of blenders and distillers from every whisky-producing region.
