This advanced course is designed for people who have already acquired the fundamental understanding of the whisky making process, willing to expand their knowledge further. You will better comprehend the whisky diversity through the intimate variations of its make, the subtlety of the influence of many factors along the process, and ultimately, you will enjoy any whiskey at a new height.

This is a live on-line course in four two-hour sessions. This means that you can interact with your tutor like in a virtual class. You receive a full handbook at booking, serving as pre-read and future reference.

Three modules and wrap up: Each module is delivered online live with your tutor, through a virtual meeting room. The duration of each session is two hours.

Content:

Module #1: “From grain to wash”, Tuesday October 5 from 11:30am to 1:30pm EST

Module #2: “Fundamentals of distillation”, Tuesday October 14, from 11:30am to 1:30pm EST

Module #3: “Wood and maturation”, Tuesday October 19, from 11:30am to 1:30pm EST

Wrap up and exam: Tuesday November 4, from 11:30am to 1:30pm EST
