We all know whiskies from the big 5 producing countries: US, Japan, Scotland, Ireland and Canada. But its a big world out there and whiskies are coming from all four of its corners. Some are following traditional methods, some are staking out on their own; all of them utilizing the advantages their part of the world offers, from climate to grains to traditions. In this class, we'll taste 6 whiskies from some of the most unexpected areas of the globe: some are award winning, some are non-traditional, but all are surprisingly delicious.
