World Whiskey Tussle: Phenomenal Whiskies from the World Around

Ireland, Canada, Japan, Scotland, Kentucky, Taiwan, India...and France?! It may sound odd to put these countries all in one group, but given the huge leaps in quality the 'newcomers' have made in recent years, it is only fair to have them all side by side with the 'old guard' whiskies. We will cover the roots, past and present states of each distilling culture while comparing flavor profiles. The best of each country will be presented to your not-so-unbiased taste buds and we'll get to vote for the very favorite, but only after indulging in their culinary traditions with passed canapés and a 'palate opener'.
