Back by popular demand, this class is designed to heighten sensory development for various aromas, tastes, and textures of traditional American whiskies. One of each of the major whiskey categories will be tasted as well as whiskies that enhance their profiles through various barreling techniques, grains, and alcoholic strengths. In addition, the class will cover the basics of whiskey. We will discuss what makes whiskey different from other spirits, what the difference is between the major categories, the role of the barrel and the grain selection as well as the ageing. Spicy and savory snacks will be served to accompany these fine spirits.
