St. Paddy's Day is finally here! This class is designed to heighten sensory development for various aromas, tastes, and textures of traditional Irish whiskeys. One of each of the major whisky categories will be tasted as well as whiskeys that enhance their profiles through various barreling techniques, grains, and alcoholic strengths. In addition, the class will cover the basics of whisky. We will discuss what makes whisky different from other spirits, what the difference is between the major categories, the role of the barrel and the grain selection as well as the aging.
